Our religious education program is aimed at not only teaching our youth the content of their faith, but also helping them to grow in their relationship with God. We do this through a carefully chosen curriculum supplemented with guest speakers and activities, and supported by a very generous staff of volunteer catechists.
You, the parent, however, are your child’s first and primary teacher. It is through your example that children learn what it is to be a Catholic. Our program is designed to supplement what you already do to form your children in the faith. We want to support you in whatever ways we can, so in addition to our youth classes, we provide parent support through adult education classes, and one-on-one advice, when requested. In a typical year, K - 6th grades meet every Monday afternoon from 4:00 - 5:00 PM, and 7 - 10th grades meet every other week on Sunday or Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
In addition to our religious education classes, we also have Community Sunday activities on the first Sunday of the month, Youth Group, Youth Choir, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, and seasonal activities. For more information on these, and all of our Parish activities, please see our calendar.
